Audra is a Texas girl, born and raised in Austin where she grew up playing sports, always playing outside and in the pool swimming as much as possible. She lived in Austin until she departed for college, where she attended the University of North Texas in Denton. There she studied Journalism and English while working as a Resident Assistant on campus. At UNT, she was able to clenched 2 intramural basketball championships and served in various roles, including President, with Alpha Phi Omega (co-ed service fraternity).
Out of college Audra started in apartment leasing as Leasing Agent in North Dallas. She then was approached with a great opportunity with a Fortune 500 company to join their HR team. Over the next 9 years Audra worked with small to large companies across the US supporting their recruiting and HR needs. She still loves HR and has a passion for helping, but decided she wanted to focus her attention towards another passion of hers, real estate. Audra has always had a love for real estate, watching her parents make smart and sound real estate investment choices in Austin and Dallas. And after just one year on residential real estate, Audra made the switch to commercial, joining the Pegasus Commercial Real Estate Group!
When Audra isn't working hard for her real estate clients, she probably doing something with animals. As a big part of the animal rescue community across DFW, Audra is always doing what she can to help out animals in need. At home she has two adorable cats, Ren and Cleo, and her senior, 3-legged Chihuahua, Daisy who runs her household. She usually reserves the fourth spot for a foster dog, she's currently fostered over 12 animals and expects that number to continue to grow. She is the Author of her own, self-published children's book series (Friends of Toby Book Series) which focuses on true rescue animal stories and their triumphs to adoption. Her publishing team also gives a portion of sales back to different rescues/shelters each quarter. If there's a way she can volunteer her time, help with fundraising or networking, she's there! Plus, for every successful real estate sales transaction, she'll make a donation to the rescue/shelter of her client's choosing.....some call her the Rescue Realtor!
